A tiny New York City wine importer challenged President Donald Trump’s tariff policies in court, tangling the White House’s economic plans.

Behind the monumental court ruling that blocked most of US President Donald Trump’s tariffs is a small wine company run by a father-and-daughter duo.

The Trump administration suffered a significant setback on Wednesday when a court ruled in favour of wine company owner Victor Schwartz and other plaintiffs who had argued the government had exceeded its right to impose some of its tariffs on imported goods from around the world.
