Seven people were killed in a fiery crash between a van and a pickup truck on an eastern Idaho highway near Yellowstone National Park, officials said.

A pickup truck collided with a tour van carrying a number of foreign travelers on a highway leading to Yellowstone National Park, leaving seven people dead and eight others injured, Idaho State Police said.

The crash happened on Thursday just before 7:15 p.m. local time on a highway near Henry's Lake State Park in eastern Idaho, about 16 miles west of Yellowstone National Park.
