The Wyze Lock has all the smart features you expect, including Alexa, Google Assistant, and Zigbee support, with voice unlocking via Alexa and Google Assistant coming sometime in early 2020.

Wyze’s $20 security camera is already among the most inexpensive smart home gadgets on the market, and now the company is hoping to shake up a new category with its budget smart lock.

Now, Wyze is setting its sights on a more complicated market, the smart lock, but with the same value proposition: Give buyers the basics and dramatically undercut the competition’s price.

From there, users can communicate with the lock via Google Assistant, Alexa, and Zigbee for smart hub-based commands as well as Bluetooth for proximity-based unlock.
