La Crosse is celbrating earth Day! 55 years ago, Wisconsin Governor Gaylord Nelson initiated the worldwide day of environmental awareness known as Earth Day.

Van Horne also brought up “The Collection,” a new shop near the Gold Gate that honors the State Fair’s 125th anniversary.
