Dozens of police officers and firefighters responded to the scene of a fatal traffic accident in Birmingham Tuesday night.

Washington drivers crash in work zones more than 1,000 times a year, compelling the Legislature to unanimously approve speed cameras along state highways.

WISN 12 News rode along with Milwaukee Fire Chief Aaron Lipski, watching firefighters respond to emergencies during Wednesday's heavy snow.

Police say the driver was later identified as Emily Anne Busbin, 40, of Homewood. She was alone in the car on Elton B. Stephens Expressway.
