Tesla heads to federal court in Miami on Monday to defend its Autopilot system in a wrongful death case involving the death of a 22-year-old college student.

The case stems from a fatal accident in 2019 involving a Tesla Model S sedan. Previous cases involving Autopilot had been settled or dismissed.

The complaint alleges that Tesla acted recklessly by allowing Autopilot to function on roads it is not designed for.
