Ohio police video shows pet raccoon holding meth pipe after owner’s arrest
The officer arrested the 55-year-old female driver – and then the encounter took an unexpected turn, police said. Upon returning to the vehicle, the officer found a pet raccoon, named “Chewy,” sitting in the driver’s seat with a glass meth pipe in its mouth. The moment was captured on the officer’s body cam.

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — An Akron woman was arrested on drug charges Monday evening after police in Springfield Township conducted a traffic stop on South Arlington Road and reportedly “observed a raccoon named ‘Chewy’ sitting in the driver’s seat with a meth pipe in its mouth.”
