(The Center Square) – Wisconsin’s free winter fishing weekend is set to run on Saturday and Sunday. Anglers can fish without a fishing license or either a trout or salmon stamp over the two days.

Popular for boating and fishing, the waters also produce healing, calming waves for veterans and service members at the annual Salmon for Soldiers (S4S) event held out of the Port of Everett Marina.
