Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are named to the 2021 NBA All-Star Game, while Utah Jazz teammate Mike Conley is left out.

But Mitchell could have also been counting off the number of times he and Gobert connected on alley-oop dunks in the Utah Jazz’s 101-99 victory in a scrimmage with the Miami Heat on Friday evening.

Conley is obviously very good at this, and O’Neale somewhat less good but still very capable. Then it was Gobert’s turn, and he went into his bag. Folks, it was magical.

If Utah’s scrimmages here are any indication, Mitchell and Gobert are buying into that. “Both Rudy and Donovan are learning every game, every practice how to play better together,” Snyder said.
