Rochester woman pleads guilty to wire fraud and money laundering in a scheme that defrauded $250 million from a child nutrition program.

Ayan Jama, 45, is accused of forging claims to the nutrition program while working at Brava restaurant starting in Dec. of 2020.

Two women have pleaded guilty to their roles in the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme just days before a trial for the head of the now-defunct nonprofit was set to get underway. According to the U.
