The Internet Archive's vintage GIF search engine, GifCities, now supports keyword searches and searches by dimensions.

The camera can be used to capture GIFs, including a special effect GIF called Looper Effect, plus there are options to shoot video at 9fps for a retro look or a typical movie frame rate at 24fps.

OTTO, a retro-chic camera designed by Oakland-based studio Next Thing Co., lets you make instant animated GIFs of the world around you.

As the company explains, “BitCam is the digital camera you would have used on your mini pocket computer back in 1996.” Iconfactory says it launched the app to celebrate the its 20th anniversary.
