Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced that a scammer is calling potential victims in the county using a genuine deputy’s name.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for a man wanted on several charges after firing gunshots into a crowd.

A caravan of officers and family traveled from Louisville's medical district back to French Lick where the deputy will continue his recovery process.
