WowWee, a smart toy company, has unveiled a robotic dog ... Mid-demo, as a child snuck up close to the black and white mechanical dog, it sprawled its legs and waited as the child pet its head.

Many exhibitors at the 2016 toy fair mentioned how their products were tactile, mechanical, good for kids on a developmental spectrum. Sydney Wiseman of WowWee USA, holds CHiP’s robotic dog.
