Oscar Piastri scored his third successive Formula 1 victory, and fourth from six races this season, as McLaren crushed the opposition at the Miami Grand Prix. Autoweek rounds up the main talking points from the Miami International Autodrome.

Max Verstappen set the fastest time during Q1 at the Miami Grand Prix, as he beat both McLaren s during the session on Saturday. McLaren sealed a 1-2 finish during the sprint race earlier in the day and were the favourites heading into qualifying, but Verstappen reminded Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri he remains in the fight.

Piastri is the first McLaren driver to win three consecutive F1 races in 28 years. Mika Hakkinen did it with a win in the 1997 season finale and then victories in the first two races of 1998.
