Multiple parts of Central Texas, including Kerr County, were shocked by flash floods Friday when the Guadalupe River and others rose rapidly.

Police officers were involved in two separate car crashes over the weekend in Salt Lake City, Bret Weisberg with the Salt Lake City Police Department said.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a deputy involved shooting. Sgt. Jim Vachon said it happened in the area of 31801 Division St. in the Lake County section of Deland.
