Jannik Sinner was considering taking a break from tennis earlier this year before he accepted a three-month ban in a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency.

World number one Jannik Sinner, who is about to return to action after a three-month doping ban, thought about walking away from tennis even while successfully defending his Australian Open title, but is coming back with a new mentality.

Jannik Sinner said he “didn’t feel at ease” during the Australian Open in January and considered taking a break from tennis after he was sanctioned for two anti-doping violations.
