A 20-year-old Newport News man has been arrested after he abducted a person and was involved in a vehicle pursuit by the New Kent County Sheriff’s Office on Interstate 64.

A shooting in the Kent’s Store area occurred on the evening of Sunday, May 18, located near the Louisa/Fluvanna County line.
