Harvard officials, in a new court filing on Monday, detailed the extent of cuts that the Trump administration had made to a broad swath of university research projects.

In late May 2025, the Trump administration announced plans to terminate all remaining federal contracts with Harvard University, a sum of around $100 million. This follows earlier freezes on more than $2 billion in federal research funding and attempts to restrict Harvard's enrollment of international students.
