Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said his office is reviewing a federal judge’s ruling that blocks parts of the state’s immigration law.

TALLAHASSEE — Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier says he will not tell state law enforcement agencies to obey a federal court order halting immigration arrests under a new state law even as the judge who issued the order threatens to hold him in contempt of court.

"We can absolutely deputize judge advocates from our National Guard units to serve as immigration judges," Governor Ron DeSantis said at a press conference.
