Almost four dozen Venezuelan workers who had temporary protected status have been put on leave by Disney after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to strip them of legal protections.

The Walt Disney Co. became the first major employer to confirm it cut ties with Venezuelan employees with temporary protections, after the Supreme Court upheld the Trump administration’s termination of their legal status.

Walt Disney Co. notified Florida-based employees who are losing temporary legal residency that their jobs would be terminated next month after a Supreme Court ruling.
