Casualty icon Derek Thompson made a very rare public appearance with his co-stars after quitting the show. Back in March, Derek’s character Charlie Fairhead left Holby ED after 37 years.

Derek Thompson (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) is "The Tooth Fairy", a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids.

Derek played Wyatt in Bergerac in 1983, and was Harry in Minder in 1980. He also starred in The Long Good Friday alongside Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren.
