Per Brian Howell of Buffzone, the Colorado board of regents approved a new five-year, $54 million contract for Sanders that will pay him at least $10 million in every season through 2029. In the school's official release announcing the extension, Sanders said he's looking forward to "continue building something special" with the Buffaloes:

The University of Colorado has approved a new five-year contract for coach Deion Sanders that will nearly double his annual pay to $10 million and more through 2029, making him one of the nation’s highest-paid coaches.

More than a few predicted Sanders would move on when his sons did. But he's back with an extension, a new-look team and a QB competition.
