Unseasonably warm conditions, as well as dry weather, are leading to several counties placing burn bans in place.

CRANDIC told city and county leaders in Johnson County it will not allow use of its rail line for transit at this time.

Burn bans are in effect for 10 Iowa counties. Fire restrictions are in place for Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Franklin, Floyd, Grundy, Hardin, Howard and Winneshiek counties in northeast Iowa.
