The Haven of Ascension is organizing the “Geared Up For Veterans and Active Duty” car show at the Ascension Parish Veterans Memorial Park. The event is Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

One notable change this year is the weekday switch to evening hours to allow those who work during the day to enjoy the festival activities.

It’s a massive slice with layers of cheesecake, chocolate mousse and brownie, all coated in chocolate and slivered almonds. This diner is also famous for its Greek food, so get on that moussaka.
