Under a bill introduced by Sen. Beau Ballard of Lincoln, the state would cut back its contribution to the school employee retirement fund depending on the health of the fund.

The Food, Water, Energy and Societal Systems focus program was created in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources in 2021.
