Blaydes, who fought Aspinall twice, doesn’t believe that Jones is scared of the interim champion but he does think that ‘Bones’ is being a bit more cautious about his next move.

Aspinall claimed the interim belt with a knockout of Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 in November 2023, and has since defended it with a first-round TKO of Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 in July.

Aspinall earned his shot at the UFC Heavyweight Belt after stopping Curtis Blaydes in his last fight. During UFC London, Tom was seen holding a toy duck, hinting that Jon Jones is avoiding him.

It’s been a difficult few months for Blaydes, with the American losing to Tom Aspinall for the UFC interim title back in July and then missing out on his big comeback against Kuniev last month.
