Labor unions are suing members of the Trump administration to protect Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers’ collective bargaining agreement (CBA).  Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced it is ending its collective bargaining agreement with TSA officers.

The American Federation of Government Employees accused the Trump administration of retaliating against the labor group over their efforts to block the mass firing of probationary workers across government.

The Trump administration says the move will improve the passenger experience, but union officials fear it will harm morale and hurt recruiting efforts.

The largest federal government employee union is alleging in a new lawsuit that the Trump administration violated its First Amendment rights and the "hallowed" sanctity of contracts by canceling a collective bargaining agreement covering Transportation Security Administration (TSA) airport security screeners.
