Game developer Innersloth has unveiled Among Us 3D, bringing the 2D imagery of its hit social deduction game to new life. The game is essentially a refurbished version of Among Us VR, allowing everyone to play the game from a first-person perspective without the use of a VR headset.

You’ll soon be able to play Among Us in first person on PC with the launch of Among Us 3D. Sort of a variant of Among Us VR, this new game allows Steam players to join lobbies with Meta Quest, PlayStation VR 2, Steam VR, and Pico users. Over the next few months, all Among Us VR branding will be changed to Among Us 3D.

Among Us 3D will allow Steam PC users to join cross-platform lobbies with VR players on Meta Quest, Steam VR, PlayStation VR2 and PICO. Expect the same kind of gameplay, complete with voice chat, new customization options, game modes and roles, all without the need for a VR headset.
