We've barely seen AMD's RDNA 4 GPUs in action yet, but a new rumor suggests we could be getting an Nvidia RTX 5090 competitor at last
Nvidia is, as usual, leading the GPU market, but if this new rumor is true, there could be some serious competition down the line.
AMD RDNA 4 high-end GPU rumored to debut by June with 32GB VRAM - to take on RTX 5090, or not?
The big question here is: if the rumored graphics card is true, is this a gaming GPU, or a data center one? Sadly, we reckon the latter is more likely.
Confirmed: AMD's RDNA 4 Radeon RX 9000 Series GPUs Arrive In Early March
AMD has confirmed its Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs will launch in early March, ending weeks of speculation. The company initially briefed press at CES 2025 but omitted the GPUs from its keynote, leading to uncertainty about their release timeline.
AMD will reveal its RDNA 4- packing Radeon RX 9000 GPUs on February 28th.
That’s just over two weeks from today — it’ll have a YouTube livestream at 8AM ET (that’s 5AM for me on the West Coast!) to show off its already-announced RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT and hopefully reveal their all-important pricing.
