Boeing is set to increase 737 MAX production rates to 42 aircraft per month, the CEO has told a conference audience in the US.

Boeing is increasing 737 MAX production, resuming deliveries to China and making plans for a fourth production line in its Everett factory, CEO Kelly Ortberg said.

Ortberg also said in the Aviation Week interview that Boeing was making progress on certifying the 777-9, the company's largest jetliner in production
