The NFL draft has few guarantees. Every year, there are surprise picks and trades. Sometimes, the first round can be complete madness. Some teams are willing to move up for an ideal draft target, while other clubs follow the big board and take who’s available.

Less than a week remains until the 2025 NFL Draft, which begins Thursday night. This is a monumental draft for the Giants and their hot-seat general manager, Joe Schoen, who might pick quarterback Shedeur Sanders at No. 3. (Or he might pass on Sanders at that spot.) Another option for Schoen: Trade back and still get Sanders.
