Jake Evans signed a four-year, $11.4 million contract with the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. It has an average annual value of $2.85 million. The 28-year-old center, who is in the final season of a three-year, $5.1 million contract ($1.7 million AAV) he signed Oct. 3, 2021, could have become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
