On Thursday, the Atlanta Braves signed outfielder Jurickson Profar to a three-year contract. It represents the first significant move for the Braves this offsea
Jurickson Profar agreed to a $42 million, three-year contract with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday, less than a year after the outfielder got a $1 million deal from the San Diego Padres with spring training already underway.

Profar, a switch-hitting outfielder, will help the Braves fill Ronald Acuña Jr.’s absence, and could be their starting left fielder when Acuna returns.
