Arch Manning knows the circus of reporters and broadcasters that tail him. As he takes the keys from Quinn Ewers for the Texas Longhorns this coming go-round, he'll be analyzed ad nauseum. On Thursday, Manning discussed with reporters how Ewers helped him over the past two years.

And he is ready to take over the Texas offense in 2025. "I wanted to be the quarterback at the University of Texas," quarterback Arch Manning told reporters Thursday when discussing why he didn't transfer when he was behind Quinn Ewers on the depth chart. "Sometimes things are worth the wait."

Ewers is now headed to try his luck in the NFL, and Manning will be the de facto leader of Steve Sarkisian's Texas Longhorns.
