Responding to input from the industry and fans, NASCAR altered its postseason venues and make-up for 2018 as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule was released on Tuesday.

NASCAR announced several changes to its 2018 schedule on Tuesday, including new tracks for the final 11 races of the season. The changes dramatically alter the type of tracks in the playoff.
