Atlanta United has completed the signing of Miguel Almiron from Newcastle United. The Athletic reported on January 15 the MLS side had tabled a bid worth £11million ($13.5m) for the 30-year-old Paraguayan who will return to Atlanta six years after he left the club to join Newcastle.

Miguel Almirón is returning to Atlanta. Atlanta United announced Thursday the signing of the Paraguayan midfielder after completing a transfer from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee.
