Straight up, one of my favorite additions to Android 11 was the ability to bring up smart home controls when long-pressing the power button.

The power button in Android 11 is no longer just for turning your device on or off. You’ll now get a host of extra controls in the power menu for accessing tap-to-pay, your smart home, and more.

The Google Pay and Google Home controls, available via a long-press of the power button in Android 11, will be moved to the Quick Settings menu in Android 12. This change is bound to be contentious.
