Preakness Stakes will run at 7:01 p.m. ET on Saturday from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Nine 2025 Preakness Stakes horses will square off in the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown on what could be a fast track.

The Triple Crown is made up of the big three 3-year-old thoroughbred horse races: the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Only 13 horses have won all three races in the Triple Crown, the last being Justify in 2018.

The 2025 Preakness Stakes takes place this Saturday, May 17, at 4 PM ET on NBC and Peacock. Saturday's race not only marks the 150th edition of the event, but it will be the final event at the historic Pimlico Race Course as demolition is expected to begin in June, part of the facility's $400 million redevelopment.
