The Florida Panthers are sticking with the status quo. Panthers coach Paul Maurice said pregame Friday that there will be no lineup changes for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers after Florida dropped the series opener 4-3 in overtime on Wednesday.

The Edmonton Oilers came away with a massive win to open the 2025 Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers. The Oilers won the game 4-3 in overtime, which saw multiple ebbs and flows throughout the contest.

Winners of the Stanley Cup last season, the Panthers will try for back-to-back titles starting Wednesday night when they visit Edmonton for Game 1 of a rematch. Florida beat the Oilers last year in seven games for Maurice's first Cup in a 30-year career.
