In Game 5 at T-Mobile Arena, the Oilers scored two power-play goals to take a 2-1 lead after 20 minutes before the Golden Knights struck three times in a 1:29 span of the second period to ultimately take the series lead and push Edmonton to the brink with a 4-3 win.

The Golden Knights focused their efforts two years ago on limiting Oilers stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, a successful strategy that gave Vegas the series victory and helped put them on the path to winning the Stanley Cup.

Connor Brown had a goal and two assists as the Edmonton Oilers punched their ticket to the second round of the playoffs with a 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
