New York City Mayor Eric Adams is unveiling his budget for 2026. The mayor released a copy of his budget proposal early Thursday morning, and he is scheduled to announce the plan at noon from Bayside High School in Queens.

The mayor has asked top staffers to look into how many units of housing could be built at the borough sites in Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx, according to sources familiar with the matter.

Hizzoner is set to unveil his $115 billion re-election year fiscal plan Thursday — touting the proposal, which is flush with new spending, as the “best budget ever.”
