Boston’s airport has the highest known concentration of snowy owls in New England. Raptor researcher Norman Smith has removed more than 900 of the Arctic birds.

Norman G. Smith, 87, born on August 2, 1928, passed on December 27th in his Country Meadows residence, Wyomissing. He was a loving husband and father to his family, whom he devoted his life to.
