Oscar Piastria baited Max Verstappen into corner No. 1, slid behind his rear wing and overtook him on lap No. 14 for a lead he would never lose Sunday en route to a dominant Miami Grand Prix victory.

The win marks Piastri's fourth of the season after he picked up wins at the Heineken Chinese Grand Prix in March and the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and SRC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April. The 24-year-old Australian has now doubled his win total from a year ago.

His awkward attempt at a “griddy” dance excluded, Australian Formula One star Oscar Piastri provided another reminder of his unfailing maturity as he outdrove and outwitted his older and more experienced rivals to win the Miami Grand Prix.
