Massachusetts governor Maura Healey led a coalition of six governors in the Northeast U.S., invited the premiers of six provinces in eastern Canada to a meeting in Boston to discuss the relationship between the U.

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey and five other northeastern governors are inviting Canadian premiers to Boston for a meeting about the impacts of President Donald Trump's tariffs. Healey said the governors hope the Canadian leaders will come for a discussion about how the states and provinces can continue to work together.

Maura Healey’s office said the meeting will focus on “how American and Canadian leaders can continue to work together."
