As temperatures warm into the upper 30s Monday afternoon, rain and snow showers will mix before another round of snowfall moves in overnight. Between midnight and 6 a.m. Tuesday, western Washington could see a widespread trace to 2 inches of snow, with areas from Everett to Olympia most likely to be impacted.

More snow showers were expected to spin through the region Monday night, wrapping around an area of low pressure that has anchored itself just offshore.
