AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas House State Affairs Committee advanced a bill late Wednesday night that would restrict consumable THC products in Texas. The House committee version of Senate Bill 3 is very different from the one that the Senate passed in March, which would ban the sale of all consumable hemp products with THC.

The bill's author, State Rep. Jared Patterson, called social media "the most dangerous legal thing minors can access."
