But although Phil may have reached the biggest of celebrity statuses amongst groundhogs, he is not the most accurate. According to NOAA, Georgia's own groundhog, General Beauregard Lee ('Beau' for short), is much more accurate than its northern counterpart. Beau's accuracy sits at 80%.
