This week's FedEx St. Jude Championship kicks off the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs and only the top 70 players from the 2025 season have qualified. Rory McIlroy decided to take a pass on the event at TPC Southwind in Memphis this week, so only 69 golfers will actually be teeing it up. Sunday night, the top 50 will then advance to the BMW Championship.

Sam Burns has already recorded two top-five finishes at TPC Southwind, and this is the perfect venue for him to collect his first victory of the PGA Tour season. Over the past three years, Burns has been the top-ranked Bermudagrass putter in this field, and his ball-striking has improved significantly over the latter half of the season.
