Early on April 25, Patel, the FBI Director, tweeted the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his post, Patel stated the charges against Judge Dugan stemmed from evidence indicating she obstructed an immigration arrest operation the previous week.

Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested on suspicion that she “intentionally misdirected federal agents away from” an immigrant being pursued by the authorities, the F.B.I. director said in a social media post.
