A historic era of Creighton baseball came to a close Sunday night as longtime head coach Ed Servais wrapped up his legendary career.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui’s Kuhio and Wehiwa Aloy helped the Arkansas baseball team to a, 12-1 win over Creighton on Saturday. The win in the Fayetteville Regional of the NCAA tournament was highlighted by Wehiwa’s two-home run performance.

Razorback head coach Dave Van Horn announced Thursday morning that he is giving redshirt sophomore Aiden Jimenez the nod when top seed Arkansas (43-13) faces fourth seed North Dakota State (20-31) in the opening game of the Fayetteville Regional Friday at 2 p.m. at Baum Walker Stadium.

Eighteen Arkansas men’s track and field athletes will compete in 10 events at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., June 11-14. Thirteen Razorbacks advanced Friday at the West First Round meet in College Station, Texas, joining the four who advanced Wednesday and decathlete Marcus Weaver, who qualified at the SEC meet.

For Kozeal, he's from Omaha, Neb., the place that all 64 teams in the NCAA Tournament want to ultimately end up for the College World Series. It's only fitting that he played the pivotal role in the Razorbacks' first step.
